


Did you know that less than 10% of “Christian” households pray, read the Bible or engage in any form of faith talk, devotions or Bible reading in the home? The home, according to God’s word in Deuteronomy 6, has always been intended to be the primary place where faith is lived, nurtured and expressed yet in today’s fast paced world many have abdicated this responsibility to the church. But the Faith@Home movement is changing that and people are growing weary of being one hour, hypocritical Christians and they are looking for more. The number one reason cited for this exodus is hypocrisy and that is because, for the majority of these children, they were raised where faith was practiced only at church and not at home. An awakening, through the Faith@Home movement, is happening in churches all over the world and this portion of the Faith@Home Network provides three channels of content to help you establish and maintain a Faith@Home focus in your church.

Parents will be equipped to build a faith that lasts in the lives of their kids. Parents want to be involved in the spiritual development of their kids, but where do they begin? How can we help them? Pastor Mark points out that passing your faith to the next generation is significant and encourages parents to build their home on Deuteronomy 6:7. Going beyond the why of passing faith to the next generation, Mark gives practical tools for parents to use in sharing faith with their children.Parents will gain a better understanding of God’s plan for passing faith to the next generation and learn practical ways to make it happen in their homes.
